Today I had the chance to experience Salt Lake City’s Crown Burger which is always a great place to park for a Jazz Game.  I took my 2 year old and we enjoyed Cheeseburgers, Fries and Drinks.  I love the Crown Burger fry sauce!  It’s got fun chunkies in it that add to the flavor and make me want to double dip (even though I am very much against it, even when I eat alone). One of my favorite burger places happens to be located just down from my office in American Fork, Utah.  JCWs is wonderfully delicious at every level.  The french fries are always perfectly cooked and are thick enough to handle fry sauce or ketchup and a great combination of crispy and soft.  Part of what makes JCWs so good is the atmosphere.  It’s not a greasy burger joint yet it’s not a fancy restaurant so that means it’s a great place to sit down and enjoy a cheeseburger and fries. Five Guys is the best burger in town….any town!

If you haven’t heard about Five Guys, let me be the first to say that it is the Best Burger in Town!…..any town!  For about $10 a meal (including fries and a drink) you will experience a deliciously hand-made burger, real potato fries and an atmosphere that makes everything better.  They have two locations in Utah now, both in Salt Lake County.  My favorite is in Sandy by SouthTowne Mall.  When you walk into a burger joint the best way to tell if it’s good is the line.  Today’s line up was almost out to the door at 12:30pm.  The (keep reading…)

Little Acorn’s Shadow Fighter in Spanish Fork

Little Acorn is a fun little burger joint in Spanish Fork right before Spanish Fork Canyon (sharing a parking lot with the last little gas station before you’re in the canyon).  It’s a unique place with the vibes or an old diner meets and old chinese food place meets the last restaurant you could pick. Rumbi Grill has a Kahuna Burger and it is Delicious

My first ever trip to Rumbi Grill resulted in my exposure to a surprisingly refreshing Kahuna Burger.  This burger was wonderfully delicious!  With two beef patties marinated with a teriyaki sauce, swiss cheese, grilled pineapple and the addition of really fresh lettuce and a slice of tomato.  The bun is also slightly toasted on the inside and “stretchy” on the outside so it lasts all the way to the end of the meal.  The Kahuna burger also tasted heathier than any other burger I’ve had.  The beef patties weren’t dripping with grease, in fact I don’t think there were any grease (keep reading…)

What is a Crown Burger?

Crown Burger was first opened in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1978 by brothers Nick and Manuel Katsanevas.  Their specialty is the Crown Burger, a delicious cheeseburger with beef patties and tons of freshly sliced pastrami.  All the fixens with french fries and a Mr. Pibb (I personally wish Dr Pepper was an option but I’ll survive). Lamplight Restaurant’s Half Pound Angus Burger Review

I happened to be in Southern Utah this week and while in Blanding, Utah heard about a must experience burger offered at a Monticello Utah Restaurant called Lamplight Restaurant.  In fact, it was so recommended that we took the long way to Monticello in order to hit the 4:00pm opening of this Southern Utah gem. It’s Official…..Arby’s Burger is a hoax!  How can this be considered a burger?  No charbroiled goodness.  No beef patties. No Ketchup.  Arby’s Burger talk is a Burger Hoax!  You can even try this “RoastBurger” for free because they know it has to be free for burger lovers to consider it.

Fuddruckers Elk Burger Review

As many burger loves know, Fuddruckers is pretty darn good.  It’s one of my favorite burger restaurants and the fries are delicious.  The meat quality is always good and the fact that the toppings are all self-serve, how can you go wrong.  This trip was to the Fuddruckers in Orem, Utah on University Avenue.  Their burger of the day was a grass fed Elk Burger and I just had to try it. I’ve had elk roast, elk steak and elk burgers before and although gamey (as all wide animal meat is) it’s always good.  The Fuddruckers Elk Burger was phenomenol.  (keep reading…)

McDonalds Big Mac Burger Review

So with all the burgers I’ve been eating lately (gladly of course) I decided today to try an old favorite, the McDonalds Big Mac.  I’ll admit, this used to be my favorite meal on earth, but since it’s been years since I’ve eaten anything at McDonalds that wasn’t on their Value Menu, I was really looking forward to having a Big Mac. As always, the service was fast, the burger was delivered and the fries were crispy for the first 10 minutes.  Overall the Big Mac is still one of my favorite “Fast Food Burgers” because of the secret sauce (keep reading…)
