Chubby’s Southern BBQ Burger

Good news burger lovers, Chubby’s Cafe in Pleasant Grove has a new burger on the menu and it’s delicious.  The Southern BBQ burger is newly listed as a burger option on the menu so it seems to make sense that it becomes today’s burger review.  You already know I’m a fan of Chubby’s and dream of their fries on a regular basis but I still had my doubts about the their take on a bbq burger.  With that said, here we go. When you take the deliciousness of a Chubby’s bun, add a nicely cooked beef patty, some house-made bbq (keep reading…)

Roy Burger Bar’s Big Ben

Roy Burger Bar’s Big Ben Review

Whenever a place is named Burger Bar you assume greatness.  That’s what Guy Fieri from Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited the Burger Bar in Roy, Utah a few years ago.  With a visit from Food Network and a name like Burger Bar it’s about time for BurgerVoice to head on over and see what all the fuss is about.  Known for the Big Ben burger (and ice cream), the Burger Bar in Roy is a classic drive-in with plenty of outdoor benches to sit and wait on while your order is being made behind the giant ordering windows.  Constant (keep reading…)

Cubby’s Mighty Houdini Burger

It’s burger time again.  Cubby’s Chicago Beef is a new addition to the dining scene in Provo and worth the drive.  Already getting ready for expansion, Cubby’s was packed with smiling patrons and when The Houdini and DragonSlayer were the burger names, I knew I was in for a treat.  The atmosphere of Cubby’s is immediately welcoming, warm and screams good food.  The menu is loaded with beefy options, great sauces and 3 types of french fries.  Today’s experience was the mighty DragonSlayer. The Houdini Burger was a flavorful burger adventure with sauteed mushroom, crispy onions, delicious bacon, some specially (keep reading…)

ParkStone Burger in Farmington

It’s always a fun time when traveling to a new area for a burger.  Today’s burger was the ParkStone Burger at Farmington, Utah’s ParkStone Wood Kitchen.  It smelled so smokey good upon entering ParkStone that I was excited just to breath the sweet hickory wood fumes all afternoon.  The good news is they stayed on my clothes so I was able to get reminders.  ParkStone Wood Kitchen is a big restaurant with plenty of seating and plenty of televisions playing all over and I was ready for a great experience.  Time for the review. On any first visit I like (keep reading…)

The Nut Butter Burger

The Nut Butter Burger

The Nut Butter Burger from Lucky 13 was an amazing combination of peanut buttery smoked bacon goodness with a juicy beef patty, lettuce, tomatoes and onions between a deliciously prepared hamburger bun of goodness. In other words, I had a great burger at Lucky 13 today and it was called The Nut Butter Burger. I’ve had a few peanut butter burger offerings around the country and this peanut butter burger has been the best.. With a layer of deliciously gooey peanut butter over Lucky 13 smoked bacon and medium-well cooked chuck beef your taste buds will be happy, intrigued and asking (keep reading…)

Red Robin Tavern Double – Pig Out Style

Red Robin Tavern Double – Pig Out Style

Well Red Robin, you’ve peaked my curiosity once again and this time it’s called the Tavern Double.  By itself, the Tavern Double is simply a Red Robin gourmet burger with two patties but then they went and added cool options like “Pig Out Style”, “Cry Baby Style” and “Fiery Ghost Style”.  When faced with tears, fire or a pig I’ll always side with pig so Pig Out Style Tavern Double from Red Robin is today’s burger for review. I’ve always enjoyed the Red Robin atmosphere but have had such varying experiences based on location, time of day and general mood (keep reading…)

My First Johnny Rockets

My First Johnny Rockets

Johnny Rockets started in the 1980s as a place to escape a complicated world and experience uncomplicated goodness of Americana.  Johnny Rockets is filled with potential and just one visit to their site and you’ll sense the culture that they are trying to instill.  Now for the Johnny Rockets tagline of The Original Burger.  After sitting down our waitress was nice enough to highlight The Original and The #12 as the best burgers at Johnny Rockets.  One has their special chili ketchup and one is the original, I think you can tell which is which. First off, my first Johnny Rockets experience was at (keep reading…)

Arctic Circle Double Cheeseburger

Arctic Circle Double Cheeseburger (and Bacon)

Well it’s about time I officially review a Utah original. Arctic Circle was the first “what is that?” fast food experience I had when I arrived in Utah and where I first fell in love with fry sauce. Sweet, tangy, delicious fry sauce. In fact, many locals agree that besides the ice cream, Arctic Circle’s fry sauce is simply the best. We’ll save that for another post for today is Arctic Circle Double Cheeseburger review day. Complimentary ice cream cones, friendly staff, amazing shake flavors and big time fun play areas aside, Arctic Circle seems to popular wherever they are (keep reading…)

Lokal’s Booyah Burger

If you’ve seen a Lokal’s restaurant while driving around town and wondered what it was I’m happy to report that you are not alone. After wondering myself, I decided to find out what Lokal’s was all about and if they had anything for a burger lover like myself. Although they seem to be more proud of their baked wings and sauces, they should be better known for the BOOYAH burger I devoured the other day and which I’d recommend to anyone. Let’s discuss. The BOOYAH burger is a baked half-pound patty of descent meat topped with thickly sliced honey cured (keep reading…)

Shake Shack ShackBurger at JFK

Shake Shack ShackBurger Review

Shake Shack is a heavenly delicious burger and hot dog joint first established in 2004 as a food cart and then was granted a spot on the street where miracles continued to happen one burger at a time. From super awesome chef Danny Meyer and with an emphasis on having friendly, wonderful people working there, Shake Shack is a special destination. I visited the Shake Shack at JFK and was guided to the ShackBurger for my first time. A ShackBurger is a medium cooked cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce. The burger itself is amazingly juicy and hand pressed with (keep reading…)
