So if you find yourself in Argentina I’d like to take this opportunity to recommend Mostaza for a delicious fast food burger option. The overall vibe is like McDonalds was updated to be more local but still effective. Everything in the place was clean, the staff was friendly, the ordering systems all worked and food was delicious. Here’s my review of Mostaza burgers and fries from Mendoza, Argentina.
Mostaza is spanish for Mustard or Yellow Mustard. There is a hint of a mustard taste on the burgers but it’s not enough to bug you if you hate mustard. The burger patty is juicy, lightly flavored, the toppings are all fresh and work really well with the patty, especially the pickles. The bun is reliably delicious and built to support the burger from beginning to end. It’s thicker than a traditional fast food burger but super soft too. The perfect combination for a delicious bun.
Even the Mostaza fries are delicious. A little thicker than McDonalds, more like a Wendy’s thickness but with just a little something to make them delicious. Add some ketchup and this whole meal is wonderfully pleasant and can be easily recommended.
The restaurant we went to was in Mendoza and it was clean, the staff was attentive and the clients were all happy. Overall I was very happy with this meal and actually wanted to go back the next day because it was so good. Well done Mostaza and when you come to the USA, I’m ready to be your first customer!
