Happy National Cheeseburger Day, also known as September 18th. Â It comes only once a year and like Christmas, National Cheeseburger Day is a day of reflection, family, friends and celebration of the good things in life. Â Let’s take a look at some places here in Utah that BurgerVoice would like to especially recommend for your National Cheeseburger Day lunch or dinner.
Located at 135 W 1300 S in Salt Lake City (near the baseball park), Lucky 13 is pure joy. It’s absolutely delicious and the garlic fries will knock your socks off.  Check out their facebook page for daily specials or just get whatever burger sounds National Cheeseburger Day worthy and know that you won’t be disappointed.  Some of my favorites have been the Ostrich Burger, the Celestial Burger and everything else on the menu. ID is required to enter so plan accordingly.
Located at 670 West State Road in Pleasant Grove, Chubby’s is just plain good.  If you’ve read this blog for any length of time you’ll know that I’m in love with Chubby’s and their fries.  Do yourself a favor and try the Utah Burger (add some bacon and a fried egg to celebrate) or the new Southern BBQ Burger.  If you really want to celebrate go after the Chubby Challenge which will be the best 20 minutes of your day.  Please, please ask for the beer-battered fries because on National Cheeseburger Day there is no messing around!
Located at 22 West Center Street in Provo, Station 22 has the Famous Abe burger and it is another great option for this Day of Cheeseburger. Â The atmosphere is hip, cool and comfortable and the beer-battered fries not only taste good but are served in such an impressive way that you can’t help but feel special. Â Enjoy a delicious cheeseburger at Station 22 if you are in the Provo area any time today.
The best for last. Â Five Guys is always dependable, delicious and awesome. Â I love the bacon cheeseburger with all the fixens. Â Also, if you check-in on Foursquare today you’ll end up helping feed the hungry because of a group deal between Five Guys, Kraft and Foursquare. Â Check out all of the details here and enjoy giving back on this National Cheeseburger Day 2012.
No matter what, have a safe and happy National Cheeseburger Day. Â I know I will!
Although there is a Five Guys in St. George, I’m gonna go ahead and recommend Marv’s Drive In for my fellow Zionists and visitors looking for local taste.
