I was introduced to a burger the other day called a Flying Cow. After some research I was corrected and the official term for the burger I’m reviewing today is the McGangBang (rated M). What is the McGangBang (M)? It’s a powerfully delicious union of the Double Cheeseburger (or a McDouble) and a Spicy Chicken sandwich. Not all McDonalds restaurants know what this burger is though. According to my research it originated at a Daytona Beach McDonalds and has taken off from there. Whether or not your local McDonalds knows what a McGangBang (M) is, you can make it yourself just as easily. This burger was surprisingly amazing. I don’t know what it is about throwing a chicken sandwich between a double cheeseburger but the whole thing really worked well. The texture of the chicken sandwich added some stability to the overall softer burger aspects. The shredded lettuce and mayo on the chicken sandwich complimented the pickles and ketchup on the double cheeseburger and with all of these things blending with every bite, it was a filling and tasty $2 burger.
Here’s how it works. Order a double cheeseburger and a spicy chicken sandwich (or McChicken in some areas) from the McDonalds Value Menu. Open the double cheeseburger and seperate it in half (cheese will be melted so take your time). After separating the double cheeseburger insert the entire spicy chicken sandwich (the whole thing) right in between and then put the double cheeseburger back together. You’ve just created a McGangBang (M) and BurgerVoice thinks you’ll love it!

That is disgusting. I don’t know why you would waste $2 on that crap.
So I was intrigued when I first heard of this combination of two worlds. I wanted to try, but never seemed to have the time. Well, today was the day. I took my first bite, and to be honest I didn’t like it. The big problem is the spicy chicken is too spicy and overpowers the cheese burger to the point that you can barely taste it. It’s all just spice!
I still thought it was a good idea though and remembered that Carl’s Jr. has less spicy chicken sandwich. So off I went to combine a Carl’s Jr. Spicy Chicken and Big Burger….LOVE IT!!
I actually took this one step further cause I like lots of food and put the spicy chicken inbetween TWO mcdoubles, this was a bit large and had to be smashed down quite a bit but it was pretty tastey too.
It actually taste really good if you take a double cheeseburger and put 4 mcnuggets in the middle
I heard of this burger,the “McGangBand” from a couple of kids from school and i havent tried it yet but im tempted to! 🙂 It sounds pretty good to me cause i like spicy things but after reading these comments, im not quite sure. lol
This is my Fav burger/chicken at Mc D’s,
I just do it a little different I toss out the bottom of the McDouble bun and replace it with the McChicken top and put the chicken patty between the burgers.
Its a lot less bread, which was the only problem with the original.
